SUPETAR AND BRAC ISLAND

8 MONTHS OF UNUSUAL EXPERIENCES

SEASONS OF BRAC

The tourist season usually begins with the Easter holidays, when the island’s spring weather is already enjoyable. Spring on Brac is delightful, especially for hiking, cycling, and highly varied flora. In April and May, countless flowers bloom that you will not see in other seasons. Air temperatures reach a pleasant 18 to 22 degrees, the beaches are already pleasant to sunbathe, and the sea temperature is also suitable for swimmers.

June or September are especially suitable for families with younger children to enjoy the gentle temperatures, more favorable accommodation prices, and quieter atmosphere. Or for people looking for a quieter holiday.

The main tourist season – July and August offers warm sea, a wide range of sports, various cultural events, and entertainment for children, youth, and adults.

The end of the season – October and the first half of November will surprise you with still pleasantly warm sea and lower accommodation prices. An unusual experience to enjoy is the olive harvest (the so-called Berba), an important tradition in Brač. It is best time to visit Split with its famous Diocletian Palace and other beautiful monuments during this period.
